GCHS Power Lifters Triumph

On March 14-16, 2008, the GCHS Power Lifting Team, sponsored by coach Jerry Sutton, traveled to Doniphan, Nebraska, for the 2008 Class C State Power Lifting Championships. Almost 130 students throughout the state converged to vie for individual and team honors. Our GCHS Girls' Team come home with the second place trophy, while the Boys' Team finished sixth place. Several of our competitors broke their personal best and school records. Congratulations, Coach Sutton and GCHS power lifters, for your fine performances!
