GARDEN COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ENJOY NEW LEARNING OPPORTUNITY!
On Wed., Feb. 20th, GCHS hosted the SPVA Speech Meet. GCHS students not involved in the speech meet attended school for the day at the junior high or elementary site. They assisted teachers, helped students with science fair projects, made an ocean scene, worked on scholarships, or had extra time to work on high school academics. It was a great way to share in a multiage environment and go back in time to their previous school settings! Many students enjoyed seeing their former teachers and how their schools have changed. Some of the students were excited to have a real recess again! The day reminded us that learning can take place in lots of different ways. The students' behavior was exemplary! Garden County has great kids!
