Drake Carmack and Alex Van Wey have been learning about the Stone Age in this class. After learning about the cave paintings they wanted to try painting with primitive paint. After some learning and experimentation we have finished our Caveman Art projects. These sticks were painted using natural paints made from stone. Yep that's right, we learned to make paint from rocks. There is also a bit of paint made from plants and charcoal. Not only did the art turn out great, but we got a chance to really experience a part of life as Stone Age people would have and had some great conversations.
