This is the last week with students and Monday, the 20th, will be the last official day with teachers for the Garden County Schools’ 2012-13 school year! Every year at this time, I am reminded how it truly takes a village to raise our children.   more

Creek Valley Elementary Hosts Garden County Elementary!

The Creek Valley Elementary staff and students were gracious hosts on Friday, May 10th! All were entertained by the Hampstead Players with a shortened version of "The Legend of King Arthur".   more
Jump Rope for Heart

In February 2013, GCE students raised $3497.25 in the annual Jump Rope for Heart campaign! The 2nd grade won with $1048.15 and Ansley Carlson was the top student with $260.! Mr. Malcolm sponsored this event and took several pies in the face from students who earned the minimum amount! Great work, students and Mr. Malcolm!  more

Garden County Does Well at State FFA by Alisha Heelan

On the third of April, 13 Garden County FFA students made their way to State FFA in Lincoln, NE. Every year, FFA members from all over Nebraska qualify to compete at State FFA and it is an honor for those who do. It is an educating experience, and members who go enjoy themselves. Garden County sent three teams to compete, ag communications, agriscience, and biotechnology. A team for the agriscience fair also qualified for State.  more
