Speech Team Competes at Huge Ogallala Invitational Against Two-Dozen Teams By Kathryn Beberniss
Also medaling this past weekend in their first year of speech competition were Karmen Arceo-Fenn and Brooke Kramer. In the novice division of the poetry category, these two girls competed against each other and Karmen beat out Brooke for second place by at only a few points. The girls both performed fabulously and judges were truly impressed by their poise and energy throughout their programs.
This week the team will travel to Potter, NE for the MAC Speech competition and we will only be taking the top performers in each category, so it will be exciting to see the results there. Then we will jump in the van again to get more chances to produce greatness at the South Platte Mini-Meet on February 24, this Saturday.
