Congratulations to Peyton who received a purple ribbon for winning the GMAW welding contest, Kenny for getting seventh in OA welding, and Austin Dormann for getting eighth in SMAW welding.  The team received a blue ribbon placing fifth overall and qualified to compete at State FFA.

The livestock management teams consisting of Brexton Robertson, Jaedon Ross, Kara Barnhart, Madi Leach, and Kelsee Moffat placed second overall, receiving a blue ribbon and qualified to compete at State FFA.  The contest consists of a general knowledge test and then specified testing stations over beef, sheep, dairy cattle, equine, poultry, and swine.  GC got the highest score on the general test. Adding to that they got 2nd on the dairy and 3rd on equine and poultry.

The floriculture team consisting of MacKenzie Richards, Maddie Lake, Tarah Ross, and Kaitlyn Hunt competed well and worked very hard on the species and general tests. They also put together a beautiful round centerpiece.
