The following students were nominated by their teachers to represent GCHS: Theresa Barnhart, McLane Beck, Tate Coss, Megan Dormann, Elliot Epp, Zoe Godoy, Emily Harms, Jak Kleist, Jesus Marquez, Trenton Martinez, Mathew McCarthy, Blake McCormick, Alissa Miller, Bailey Miller, Estephon Reinhardt, Brexton Robertson, Jaedon Ross, Autumn Smith, Peyton Stanczyk, Courtney Stegman, Kayleen Sullivan, Alex VanWey, Cory Waychoff, Aaron Wheeler, Chris Wheeler, Josh Wheeler, David Young, Lissa Young, and Mason Zorn. Some noteworthy competitors were Theresa Barnhart who placed 19th of 51 in Literature, Jak Kleist placed 16th of 62 in Vocabulary, Jesus Marquez placed 6th in
Nebraska History, Bailey Miller placed 4th in Consumer Issues, and our top winner of that day was Peyton Stanczyk. Peyton nailed the 1st place position in two tests: General Science with 71 other competitors, and General Biology that had 84 competitors. Congratulations to Peyton and all of our students who represented Garden County Schools that day.
