For 22 years, Wendy’s, in partnership with the Heisman Memorial Trophy®, has recognized outstanding students and rewarded their commitment and achievements to academics, athletics and community on a national level.
Mathew McCarthy was selected as 2015 School Winner based on several accomplishments in these areas. Mathew is a 3-sport athlete who has received Conference and District recognition, a student with strong commitment to academic excellence, and a model citizen who has engaged in several community service projects throughout his high school career.
Mathew will move on for consideration in the next stage of the program where he could be named a State Finalist. We are honored to have him recognized as a top student athlete with the Wendy’s High School Heisman.
