Cheer Cheer for Garden County High,
Wake up the echoes don't let them die.

US Senator Ben Sasse
Posted on 12/01/2015
On Tuesday November 24th the 8th, 9th, and 10th grade students of the Garden County school district were fortunate enough to have the chance to have a meeting with US Senator Ben Sasse. Sasse stopped for nearly an hour to introduce himself to the body of students and teach them about the US Constitution, history as it pertains to modern America, and his personal beliefs. After his initial introduction students then asked questions they had created after researching Ben Sasse and watching his maiden Senate speech in the preceding days. In a straight forward and honest way Sasse didn't duck any punches when it came to answering questions about a defunct Senate, distrust between the citizens and their government, and the impending threats for terror organizations and cyber attacks. At the end of the day Sasse posed for a picture with the Garden County students and accepted offers for new facebook friends. The day was a great experience for kids and faculty alike!  more
